BRIEF
During this collaborative project, I worked with other students from different courses such as Animation, Photography and Illustration. This project focussed on the creation of an animated video based on a character of our design which represents Cardiff School of Art and Design’. Along with the short film, we were asked to create an AR app which connects with our character and the video’s content.
RESPONSE
My group and I decided to create a mischievous character called ‘Spud’ which builds itself from items found in different courses at CSAD. We believed this narrative would accurately represent the school in a fun and interesting way. This story also allowed us to design an effective app, where the user can develop their own creative ideas from each subject by selecting the specific items/body parts of the character.
